The Jackson Hole High School Speech and Debate Team finished their last regular seasons meet in first place among the 3A teams competing. The victory came during the Tiger Classic Invitational Speech Meet at Rock Springs High School this weekend. Worland and Douglas followed in second and third places respectively, and Jackson also bested most of the 4A schools there. This is Jackson’s sixth first place finish of the season, followed by second place finishes at their other two regular season meets. In two weeks, teams from the Wind River District of the National Forensic League gather in Rock Springs to qualify selected students for the National Tournament this June.
