Teton County is seeking applicants to serve on the county fair board.  The end of one of the members’ terms at the end of August has created an opening on the seven-member board.  Applicants must reside in Teton County, attend meetings once a month and submit to an “in-person” interview July 8th with the county commissioners.  The primary function of the Fair Board is to oversee the planning, preparation and production of the annual county fair, and to manage the fairgrounds and its buildings the remainder of the year.  The vacant seat is for a five year term.  Applications may be requested at 732-8488.
