The Wyoming Game and Fish Department trapped and relocated a sub-adult male grizzly bear Friday. Game and Fish officials say the bear was captured for frequenting a camp ground on the North Fork of the Shoshone River west of Cody. In cooperation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service the bear was relocated to the Bailey Creek drainage on the Bridger-Teton National Forest approximately 12 miles south of Yellowstone National Park and just north of Highway 287. The release site is located in currently occupied grizzly bear habitat.
