IGBC Meets Near Dubois

IGBC

The Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee which is responsible for grizzly bear recovery in the continental United States and adjacent Canadian Provinces will be holding its annual summer meeting at the Wyoming Game & Fish Whiskey Mountain Conservation Camp outside of Dubois next week.  The public portion of the meeting is to take place on Tuesday beginning at 8:00 am.  Time has also been set aside at the end of that day, for public comment.  Among the considerations the IGBC will be presented is a new video produced by Wyoming Game and Fish about the ongoing success of the Yellowstone Ecosystem Grizzly Recovery. The Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee was created in 1983 to lead the effort to recover the grizzly bear in the lower 48 states. The top leadership of state, federal, and Canadian resource management agencies makes up the IGBC.
