Lincoln County Sheriff’s officers arrested an Afton resident Saturday on multiple charges including burglary and unauthorized use of a credit card.  According to a news release from the department, 31-year-old Jason Williams’ arrest stems from an investigation into several vehicle burglaries that occurred between June third and thirteenth at the Intermittent Springs and Lunch Counter parking lots in the Snake River Canyon.  Officers also arrested 28 year-old Kristin Cooper of Afton Sunday on similar charges associated with the same incidents. Several items were recovered including purses, electronic items, credit cards and numerous items that had been purchased with the stolen credit cards.  Investigators say that seven cars were involved including two from Teton County, and only one was unlocked.
