Wyoming at Work

The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services is warning job seekers using the “Wyoming At Work” system that there has been an email scam operated by a company posing as AEB International.  Consequently, the Department is encouraging job-seekers tofully research employers before submitting their information. The recipients of the fraudulent emails have been asked to deposit a check sent by the scammers into the job-seeker’s bank account. The job-seeker is then instructed to send a Money Gram to a third party to purchase equipment. DWS is working with law enforcement to identify the source of the fraudulent emails.  In the meantime, the department is encouraging job seekers who have questions about employers they are interested in working with, to contact a local Workforce Center or call 1-877-WORK-WYO.
