Wyoming Governor Matt Mead dedicated a new road and bike pathway to Teton Village Wednesday afternoon, marking the occasion with brief comments, a ribbon-cutting and a bike ride. Mead praised the improved safety of the new route and specifically pointed to its significance for future generations. Mead said the new Apres Vous Road replaces the old access road that linked Highway 390 to Teton Village since it opened in the 1960s. That road had no provisions whatsoever for bicyclists to safely travel the route. Mead praised the cooperation between state and local interests in providing the funding for the route.
