Free Yoga For Vets

Teton Valley Karma Krew, a local community service and yoga group, has announced their participation with Diamond Way Ayurveda’s “The Welcome Home Project” for returning Veterans. As part of the “Welcome Home Project,” Karma Krew Coordinator Jenifer Werlin says both Yoga Tejas and Balance Studios is offering free yoga classes to soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, and their spouses/significant other. Health care providers, including the Veterans Administration, have learned that yoga and meditation greatly benefit soldiers affected with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as well as more visible wounds return to everyday life more engaged and happier. Veterans and their significant others will be able to participate in one month of yoga classes at Yoga Tejas at no charge in downtown Driggs. Veterans are invited to enquire about the program at info@yogatejas.com.
