Jackson Hole saw a record crowd of Independence Day revelers at the foot of Snow King Mountain for the music and fireworks display.  Organizers estimate approximately 16-thousand people crowded the Snow King Ball Diamond and surrounding area.  Bob Carruth, General Manager of Center Management Incorporated who helped stage the event confirmed that estimate adding that the previous week had attracted about 6,000 to the first concert of Jackson Hole Live at that location.  Carruth credits the way things were scheduled with live groups and the simulcast of the Festival Orchestra’s 4th of July Concert on a “jumbotron” and the culmination of the evening involving the annual fireworks display for the turnout. Carruth says there were long lines at the venders, but the members of the public seemed to handle it with patience.
