A week and a half remains for those interested in serving on the County Fair Board to apply for a position that has become available due to a member’s end-of-term taking place at the end of August. Applicants to serve on the seven member board need to submit their credentials by the end of next week and may either do so online or obtain an application form from the county. Interviews for the position are to take place July 29th  after which the county commissioners will act on the actual selection. The Teton County Fair Board meets once a month on Monday evenings. The board not only is responsible for planning the annual fair, but for the administration of the facilities at the county fairgrounds year around.
