A Tennessee woman was evacuated from the side of Mount Glory Saturday evening after falling and injuring her leg. Teton County Search and Rescue President Tim Ciocarlan says Melissa Stockstill of Germantown, Tennessee (who also has a vacation residence here) had been hiking with her husband and two sons, and slipped while descending the mountain. Her injuries prevented from continuing down on her own power and members of the rescue team were summoned to help. Curiously, the team was already elsewhere on the pass conducting routine training on a very similar scenereo. Ciocarlan says 16 team members along with other volunteers responded and brought Stockstill down to the road with the aid of a wheeled litter and ropes. From there, she was taken to St. John’s Medical Center for treatment.
