The Teton County Fair kicks off a week of competitions and festivities today which Fair Manager Kelly Fennessey says this year commemorates the 100th anniversary of the 4-H in Wyoming. The 2013 fair tonight begins with a horse show fun night followed by the first ever performance horse sale tomorrow and horse competitions on Sunday. 4-H animals will begin their inspection and competitions Monday, agriculture and garden items will be dropped off Tuesday and the annual carnival rides begin Wednesday. This year, Fennessey says there will be a small water park set up at the fairgrounds as well. She says that attraction will be set up in the baseball field. A full schedule of activities and shows is available online or at various merchants throughout Jackson. The Fair concludes July 28th with the annual Figure “8” races in the rodeo arena.
