Six WYDOT projects to be funded with the additional fuel tax revenue will receive a total of $13.4 million awarded by the Wyoming Transportation Commission during its July teleconference meeting. One of the six was awarded to Oftedal Construction of Casper who submitted the low bid of $2.3 million for landslide mitigation work at three locations on US 26 between Moran Junction and Dubois. The project will include constructing a rock buttress at the base of one continuing slide, and embedding steel casings into two new slides on the slope above the highway. The work is expected to be done by November 30th, with the planting of some trees to follow in the spring.
