Concessioners Sought For Forest Facilities

Ever want to operate a campground? The Bridger-Teton National Forest is offering a concession opportunity for the operation and maintenance of 17 campgrounds and one hot springs pool on the Jackson and Buffalo Ranger Districts.  Forest Spokesperson Mary Cernicek says the Buffalo Ranger District campgrounds include Hatchet, Turpin Meadows, Pacific Creek and Sheffield campgrounds, while the Jackson Ranger District campgrounds include Granite campground and Hot Spring Pool, Kozy, Hoback, East Table Campground and Group Site, Little Cottonwood Group Site, Station Creek campground and Group Site, Wolf Creek, Curtis Canyon, Atherton Creek, Crystal Creek and Crystal Creek Overflow campground sites. The prospectus detailing this opportunity is available online at www.fs.usda.gov/main/btnf/landmanagement/planning.  Any interested applicants must follow the instructions outlined in the prospectus to apply for a special use permit.  Applicants have until September 15th to put in a bid.
