Xanterra Expands Into Glacier NP

Xanterra Parks and Resorts Inc., the concessioner operating lodges, restaurants and other services in Yellowstone National Park, has been named the concessioner for Glacier National Park now as well.  The new contract takes effect in January and will be effective for the next 16 years.  The contract replaces one that has been in place with Glacier Park, Inc. for 32 years to operate lodging, food and beverage, retail, transportation and other visitor services there.  In addition to Yellowstone and Glacier, Xanterra will continue operating visitor services in Crater Lake, Death Valley, Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest, Rocky Mountain and Zion National Parks as well as Mount Rushmore National Memorial.
