Hoback Firefighters Serve Up Ribs Saturday

August 16, 2013 Jackson Hole, State of Wyoming, Teton County No Comments
Hoback Fire

Members of the Hoback Volunteer Fire Department host their 37th annual barbecue rib fundraiser Saturday .  Fire Department Spokesperson Mary Cernicek says the picnic includes the ribs, coleslaw, corn on the cob, rolls and beverages.  This year, however, she says the price of a ticket will also be worth a $20 gift certificate and Hoback Market. Cernicek says the profits from the annual picnic are used to pay for equipment and training for the department each year.  She points out that the Hoback station responds to many vehicle accidents due to its location, and specialized equipment for those incidents is always needed – as are additional volunteers. The picnic begins at noon at the Snake River Sporting Club and includes a silent auction and activities for everyone in the family.
