Here we go again.  Construction on Broadway near the 5-Way Interchange in Jackson gets under way Wednesday with redirection of traffic through the construction zone planned during the two-month project.  Wyoming Department of Transportation Engineer Bob Hammond says work involves the second half of the project geographically.  He says the project will start where the earlier work finished up and proceed just past the intersection of Jackson Street and Broadway.  He says this phase will include a lot of deep work for water and sewer lines and full reconstruction of the highway with concrete pavement. The project will then be finished out with street lights and some trees. Hammond says left turns through the construction zone will be eliminated and the speed limit will be set at 25 MPH. For this phase, Hammond says Broadway and Pearl will become one way in opposing directions to preserve four-lane travel in and out of town.

In my opinion, everybody should go hunting each weekend of the hunting season. You don’t have to go after elk or deer every time. Change it up a little. Hunt doves on the first weekend, then try to get a blue grouse or two the next. Later in the fall, you can start working duck […]

On defense, the Cowboys top priority is to stop the run.  With a talented quarterback […]

At the risk of sounding like I’ve been watching too much Top Gear, I need to go off on a bit of a rant right now. The good folks at Nissan let me drive a Titan for two full months, which was really nice of them. And it’s done a pretty good job of filling […]
