Bronc

It was a major disappointment for the Broncs at the regional playoffs late last week as both the boys and the girls teams failed to make the list of those going to the state finals this week.  The Lady Broncs lost their first game to the Cody Broncs 35 to 27, and then went on to win over the Limon Eagles, 39 to 28 but lost to the Powell Panthers in the final game 53 to 40.  The boys, meanwhile lost their first game against Cody 48 to 42, won their second game against Mountain View Buffalos 77 to 34 but last the final game against Worland Warriors 61 to 54.  Jackson Hole Bronc Alpine Ski Team hosted the State competition again this year on Snow King Mountain.  Cumulative points at the end of the event put the girls in first place overall while the boys came in second, two points behind state champion Kelly Walsh.

  • I’ll try anything to stay cool in the summer - July 24, 2014
I recently saw an advertisement for a product that’s sure to be a big hit with outdoorsmen. Especially those of us who stomp around in the woods when the temperatures climb into the nineties. Don’t just let that bow sit in the closet or out in the garage all summer. Dust off the case, take the bow out and get some practice. There are dozens of archery ranges around the state where you can practice shooting in the off season. If you don’t know where the one closest to […]
