Teton County last month posted the lowest unemployment rate in Wyoming for the first time in months. According to the monthly report released Tuesday by the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services, only 3.1% of the county’s workforce was idle. Next door Sublette County came in second at 3.2% unemployed. Typically, state officials say employment rises in many sectors during July, including construction, retail trade, professional & business services, and leisure & hospitality. Statewide, the average remained lower than the July 2012 level with 4.6% left looking for a job compared with 5.5% last year. Nationally, Unemployment was computed to be 7.4%.
