Bank Robber Nabbed South of Afton

A suspected bank robber was apprehended just south of Afton Tuesday shortly after the robbery of First National Bank in that community.  According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, a trooper spotted a vehicle matching the description of one involved in the incident and with the help of additional patrol and sheriff’s officers, stopped the vehicle and arrested 56 year-old Donald Sample.  Officers also recovered currency taken during the robbery from Sample’s truck.
