It is a fairly universal problem: what to do with leftover medications that are still good but not needed. Teton County Public Health is now participating in the Wyoming Department of Health’s Wyoming Medication Donation Program as a donation site. Under the arrangement, unused, non-expired medications that are still sealed can be dropped off at the county health department during the business day Monday through Friday. The medications can then be used to help Wyoming residents who cannot afford their medications. At the same time, health officials say expired medications may also be dropped off at the county health office to be disposed of properly.
