Seven people were spilled when their private raft overturned about 6:30 Sunday evening in Grand Teton National Park. While little information about the incident is immediately available, Park Spokesperson Jenny Anzelmo-Sarles says it appears the raft got caught in some debris in the river near the old Bar BC Guest Ranch. She says all the circumstances surrounding the accident are still unclear, but while some suffered minor injuries, all seven escaped with no major consequence. Those who did have injuries were treated at St. John’s Medical Center. Sarles says the group was quickly pulled from the water, thanks to helpful groups of people rafting in the vicinity at the time of the accident. Those included guided trips from Grand Teton Lodge Company and Solitude. Sarles says the incident did not result in any serious outcomes and all aboard the raft were accounted for.
