Agreement Reached For Alta Fire Protection

The Teton Board of County Commissioners and the Teton County Idaho Fire Protection District have reached an agreement to update and renew its contract for fire suppression services in Alta, Wyoming.   After staff’s preliminary contract discussions, Teton County Commissioners met with the Teton County Fire District Commission Friday and came up with a 5-year agreement that now awaits legal review by the Teton County Attorney’s office and will be considered at the County Commissioner’s meeting September 17th.  The Teton County Fire Protection District will vote on the matter at its next regularly scheduled meeting September 24th.  The current agreement is set to expire September 30th and had not been updated for over 20 years.
