Chamber

The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce has announced that it has achieved the Sustainable Tourism Education Program’s Bronze certification for a second year through Sustainable Travel International.  Robert Chappell, Senior Director of Standards & Certification, said that the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce is an excellent example of how an organization implements the STEP standard into business operations. Specifically, the program recognizes the Chamber and others businesses for demonstrating responsibility through best practices that address environmental, economic, and social impacts guided by the philosophy of the triple bottom line: people, planet, profit.  These policies and practices include the areas of Finances and Business Planning, Economic Development, Cultural Protection and Promotion, Environmental Stewardship, Education, Health and Safety, Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, Purchasing, and Waste Management.

  • Back to normal at the trap range - April 17, 2014
By some strange luck, I shot really well last week in our trap league. But last night, I didn’t do so well. Not even close. The thing about shooting trap is that you’re bound to have good rounds once in a while. Those good nights give you hope that you’re improving. For some people, that […]
