Jackson is to have an international dignitary visiting this weekend – with a particular eye to visiting with the Mexican community here.  Newly Appointed Mexican Consul Eduardo Arnal Palomera who is based out of Salt Lake City plans to meet with members of the Mexican community and other interested individuals Saturday beginning at 6:00 pm in the Teton County Library.  Sonia Capece of the Latino Resource Center calls the visit of a main consul very unusual.  She says Palomera is interested in meeting with a variety of sectors of the Jackson community and his communication and education secretary is arranging his schedule in order to accomplish this.  Appointments can be arranged by calling 801-521-8502, extension 124.
