Deceased Man Possibly A New Yorker

sheriff patch

Teton County investigators now say that the deceased victim found in the Mosquito Street drainage south of Wilson last week is possibly a 66 year-old man from New York City.  Undersheriff Bob Gilliam says an interview with the wife of that man leads them to believe that the victim is indeed her husband and that the death was an assisted suicide.  None-the-less, Gilliam says investigators are examining medical and dental records to confirm that connection.  Gilliam was reluctant to reveal additional details of the investigation at this time, or to release the name of the man.

  • Hauling hay makes me consider ATVs - July 28, 2014
In my days in the mountains, I’ve seen some horse wrecks that probably should have turned my hair gray prematurely. I’ve had horses go lame on me deep in the backcountry. And I’ve been awakened in the night to the sound of thundering hooves receding down the trail toward the trailer. None of those situations […]
