Bus service between Riverton, Dubois and Jackson, as well as service through Yellowstone National Park from the gateway communities has come to an end. Linx transportation has been operating the service since June fourth with the support of a grant from the Wyoming Department of Transportation and the chambers of commerce of the gateway communities. Linx Sales Manager Collette Rinehart says Linx boarded nearly 3,000 riders both inside and outside the park this year having hikers, cyclists, concession employees and international guests as their primary customers. Riders paid between $25-50 to ride one-way between gateway cities, and riders inside Yellowstone National Park paid $25 for an all-day pass. Rinehart says Linx has already begun receiving inquiries about its 2014 schedule.
