30% Of The 2013 Wolf Quota Filled

The quota in another wolf area has been met and that area will be closed for the remainder of the season. Wolf hunt area 5, which encompasses a large area around Dubois in the Wind River and Absaroka mountain ranges, has now reached its quota of 3 wolves. This is the second wolf hunt area to close. Hunt area 10 southeast of Jackson reached its quota of one wolf on opening day.  The wolf hunting season ends December 31st.  Altogether, a limit of 26 wolves has been set for the trophy game region of the state this year, with the total killed so far now standing at eight.
