Hoback Bridge To Be Done By January

Construction on the Hoback Junction Bridge over the Snake River which had been idled for almost a year due to litigation over the state’s contract with the builder resumed earlier this year.  Among the issues on the bridge itself was a variation between the two arches that needed correction so that the bridge deck is level. The disagreement also involved a retaining wall that needs to be constructed on the west side of the bridge.  Now, with the litigation settled, Wyoming Department of Transportation Spokesperson Stephanie Harsha says work on the bridge is back on track, and completion and opening of the bridge is anticipated by the end of the year.
