Election Day Today In Teton Valley

Tuesday is election day in Teton Valley, Idaho with town council positions up for grabs in both Victor and Driggs, one fire commissioner position for the county and a recall petition for a school board member.  Four people are vying for two town council positions in Victor.  Those candidates are Molly Absolon, David Kearsley, AJ Linnell and Grand Thompson.  Two are running for Driggs Mayor: Hyrum Johnson and George Mosher III, and three are competing for the two seats available on the Driggs Town Council.  Those three are August Christensen, Brian Gibson and Greer Jones.  Meanwhile Kevin Thibeault and Jason Letham are seeking the one fire commissioner position in the county, and voters in zone five of Teton School District #401 are asked whether school board member Nancy Arnold should be recalled.  Polls are open from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm.  Upon arriving at the polling place, a voter must either present a photo ID or sign a personal identification affidavit.
