Yellowstone National Park hosts a meeting tomorrow in Jackson to review the park’s Commercial Use Authorization Program with current and potential new permit holders. Park Spokesman Al Nash says the program was updated last April in order to improve consistency with federal laws, policies, and guidelines. Nash says during the meeting, “we’re going to review how things have gone, we’re going to talk with current and potential future permit holders about our program, we’re going to talk about some new activities that we will be accepting applications for in the coming weeks, and just give folks an overall view of how our commercial permit program works.” Both current permit holders and commercial operators who may be interested in conducting business inside the park are encouraged to attend the meeting beginning at 6:00 pm at the Lexington Hotel on North Cache Street.

  • Back to normal at the trap range - April 17, 2014
By some strange luck, I shot really well last week in our trap league. But last night, I didn’t do so well. Not even close. The thing about shooting trap is that you’re bound to have good rounds once in a while. Those good nights give you hope that you’re improving. For some people, that […]
