Four From Jackson To National Forensics Meet

The Jackson Hole High School Speech and Debate Team came away from the National Forensic League District Tournament with the best percentage of qualifiers for national completion out of the meet when compared with their limited number of entries. During the district event  held at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs this weekend, four of the competitors from Jackson earned slots in the national tournament June 13 – 18. Senior Veronica Patterson and Juniors Jessica Moore, Alex Duncker and Randy Elledge will represent the Wind River District this June as they travel to Dallas to compete against the best in the nation at the National Tournament. The Jackson team next travels to Cheyenne later this week to compete in the state tournament.
