Scrap Metal Recycling Free in Teton County

The free recycling of scrap metal at Teton County’s Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling Center is to remain a free service as long as scrap metal prices remain high enough to cover costs.  Recycling and Outreach Coordinator Mac Dukart says the center had begun accepting the scrap metal free in October for what was then believed to be a limited time.  Dukart says residents can deliver their scrap metal to the bin in back of the Community Recycling Center or the pile at the Trash Transfer Station for larger amounts.
