Hundreds of people will participate in the annual Jackson Town Square Lighting Ceremony tonight. The event is not only a favorite of locals, but draws scores of visitors from throughout the region to witness the celebration as well.  The evening features a visit from Santa Claus aided by special volunteers from Dancers’ Workshop, holiday music and of course Christmas carols from the Jackson Hole Community Band and Jackson Hole Chorale. Thousands of lights will illuminate the famous elk antler arches and are strung around the many trees in the park. Then 50 lucky attendees at the ceremony will have the chance to receive a $25 American Express gift card to be spent at local businesses on Small Business Saturday, tomorrow. The lightning ceremony takes place from 5:00-7:00 pm.
