The Jackson Hole Travel and Tourism Joint Powers Board has released the funding guidelines and applications earlier this year to avoid having the application review process occur during the busy summer months.  Those applications are now available on the 4jacksonhole.org website and are due in final, completed form on January 31st. This round, the sponsorships will be awarded in three categories that include $5,000 maximum for Community Character, $20,000 maximum for Sports Events Programs (including Youth events), and an undetermined amount for Major Events or Festivals. Eligible events must take place between September 26th and December 19th next year and January 1st and June 21st in 2015. Event Chair and Board member Aaron Pruzan explains that the timing will not only benefit the applicants with their budgeting, but aid the volunteer special events advisory committee by allowing more time to review and make their recommendations to the Travel and Tourism Board in a timely fashion.

I’m no tech genius, but I think the best way to keep your stuff safe from hackers is to just stay off the Internet and go outside. I might be a little behind on my Internet threats, but I thought I heard something last week about an Internet virus called the Heartbleed virus. I don’t […]
