The Jackson Hole High School Speech and Debate Team continued its regular season with a first place finish at the Green River Invitational December 13 and 14, with seventeen schools in attendance.  Jackson captured the 3A crown with 81 sweepstakes points compared to second place Star Valley’s 77 points.  Both Jackson and Star Valley also topped all but one of the nine 4A schools entered. The team next travels to Worland, after returning from the holiday break.  Meanwhile, the Boys Bronc basketball team lost both of its games this weekend, falling to Powell 56 to 62 and then Cody 46 to 59.  At the same time, the girls also lost both games, 25 to 59 in Powell and 34 to 42 in Cody.  This marks the two out of five games the boys have played that they have lost while the girls remain winless for the season.
