Those living on the Old Henry’s Road will have to access the area from just north of Horse Creek during the first full week of January due to the scheduled closure of the “Swinging Bridge” near Evans Trailer Court south of Jackson while repairs to the bridge are being made.  That repair consists of replacing a cracked bridge stringer, discovered during the Wyoming Department of Transpiration’s annual bridge inspection.  These stringers are actually wooden beams that support the bridge deck.  Meanwhile, the county’s emergency services have also been made aware of the planned closure and have made provisions for any needed responses during that time.
