Jackson Hole To Recycle Christmas Trees

December 24, 2013 Jackson Hole, State of Wyoming, Teton County, Town of Jackson No Comments

Christmas is here, and for some their tree will be down before the week is over.  Mike Dukart of Teton County Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling says tree composting will again be available beginning Thursday and continue through the end of January.  Duckart says people may drop off their discarded trees at the Rodeo Grounds or the Teton County Trash Transfer Station free of charge.  Dukart reminds that those trees must be totally stripped of any ornaments, tinsel, lights or other decorations.  The trees ultimately will be composted by Terra Firma Organics and be made available to gardeners next season for a nominal fee.
