As part of its ongoing efforts to recognize budget and staffing efficiencies, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department has decided to conduct its licensing for hunting online only.  License Section Manager Jennifer Doering explains 95 percent of the applications from both resident and non-residents have been coming in by means of electronic licensing already.  She adds that in addition to cost saving, an additional advantage of using the online process is the flexibility to wait until the very last minute to plan out a hunt and actually apply. Application deadlines for each species will remain unchanged from previous years. The deadlines for non-resident elk and resident spring wild turkey applications are January 31st and will be the first for which the online-only application process is in effect. A full list of application deadlines can be found at wgfd.wyo.gov.

  • Find some new places to fish - April 16, 2014
Instead of fishing the same old places this spring, do something different. Find a new honey hole. You don’t have to go to the same place every time you go fishing. When you find a good spot to fish, it’s nice to know you can go back there and catch fish. But if your honey […]
