Nevada Murder Suspect May Head To Driggs

Authorities believe a Nevada murder suspect who had previously resided in Driggs, Idaho may be returnng to Driggs. Carson City sheriff’s deputies notified the Teton County, Idaho Sheriff’s office that a man wanted in connection with in the killing of a man and wounding of his 19-year-old daughter may be headed to Idaho.  Upon arriving on the crime scene December 28th, deputies found a 19-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the head and a man who had been shot to death. Neither victim’s name has been released.  22-year-old Michael Dylan Brentlinger had been recently in custody in the Carson City Jail on charges relating to an assault alleged against the same young woman.  Detectives believe Brentlinger left the scene of the shooting in a white 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier with Nevada license plates 948XAT and may be headed to Idaho.  Police ask that if he or his car are spotted, it be reported to law enforcement officials immediately.  He should not be approached as he is believed to be armed and dangerous.
