While Yellowstone National Park experiences earth tremors daily, usually measuring little over 1 on the Richter scale, a quake of 3.5 was felt early Monday morning in the interior of the park, about 19 miles south of Gardiner, Montana.  That shake reportedly occurred around 2:14 am.  Seismologists estimate the quake originated about six miles underground.  One person in Rexburg Idaho was the only person who reported detecting the shake.  Currently, few people are in the vicinity of Yellowstone National Park where the quake occurred.  The last quake measuring 3.0 or above took place November 25th about 11 miles northeast of West Yellowstone and measured 3.0.
