Some Wins, Some Losses for JH Broncs

Jackson Hole High School Speech and Debate Team finished in first place in the 3A division once again over the weekend as they competed at Worland High School with fourteen other schools.  Jackson took the meet with 72 sweepstakes points compared with second-place Star Valley’s 37 points.  Green River took the 4A division with 112 points and was the only school in that larger division to do better than Jackson in the overall meet.  The team next travels to Kelly Walsh next weekend for one of the largest meets on the regular season schedule.  Meanwhile in high school basketball, the Bronc Boys split the weekend with a score of 64 to 46 over Pinedale on Friday and a loss of 42 to 51 to Lander Saturday.  Meanwhile, the Lady Broncs defeated Pinedale 44 to 40 in the Friday game, but they lost to Lander 53 to 64 Saturday.
