Three Idaho Counties and Teton County, Wyoming have joined forces to assess regional housing needs in order to provide a basis for developing regional objectives and strategies.  Working together in an organization called Western Greater Yellowstone Consortium, Fremont, Madison and Teton Counties in Idaho, along with Teton County, Wyoming are soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional assessment services.  The resulting objectives and strategies are then to be part of a four-county regional plan for sustainable development. Consortium officials say the study will engage stakeholders in defining planning efforts that integrate housing, land-use, economic and workforce development, transportation, and infrastructure developments in a manner that empowers regions to develop sustainable economies. Interested firms may learn more about the project on the consortium website. (www.sustainableyellowstone.org)
