Sen. Enzi Faces New Challengers

While Liz Cheney is no longer running against Incumbent US Senator Mike Enzi in the Wyoming Republican primary, there are now two names that have been submitted to vie in the Democratic primary for the chance to run against Enzi.  Rex Wilde and Charlie Hardy, both from Cheyenne announced their plans to run for Enzi’s Senate seat this week.  Wilde is a 57 year-old employee of the contractor Knife River pledges in his platform to work for veterans and the middle class.  The 74 year-old Hardy says he plans to focus on providing affordable health care and putting an end to “business as usual in Wyoming politics.”  Neither candidate has previously held a public office.
