Public Comment ON Moose-Wilson Project Ending

Moose Wilson Road

Today is the end of the line for public scoping comments to be submitted on the Moose-Wilson Corridor Comprehensive Management Plan.  Park Spokesperson Jenny Anzelmo-Sarles points out the members of the public can submit those comments either online or by mail if posted no later than midnight tonight.  She explains that this is the discovery phase of the project where the issues and alternatives that should be considered are considered for the forthcoming draft environmental impact statement. Anzelmo-Sarles says, “We had an outstanding turn-out at the public scoping open house back in January, and we look forward to hearing from the community and the American public.”  Sarles says the park has received several hundred comments already.  Once the scoping closes, she says planners will do a scoping analysis report which will be made available to the public as soon as it is completed.  She adds that the scoping comments will help inform alternative development and a set of preliminary alternatives for the project, and public comment will be taken on the preliminary alternatives when that is completed as well.” Those wishing to submit comments electronically may do so at www.parkplanning.nps.gov/moosewilson.

By some strange luck, I shot really well last week in our trap league. But last night, I didn’t do so well. Not even close. The thing about shooting trap is that you’re bound to have good rounds once in a while. Those good nights give you hope that you’re improving. For some people, that […]
  • Cowboy O-Line Being Told To Be the Hammer, Not the Nail [AUDIO] - April 16, 2014
The Wyoming Cowboy football team will have one more practice before Saturday’s spring game.  The major focus this spring, at least for the offensive line, is to be more physical and deliver the blows.  As offensive line coach Scott Fuchs tells the unit, “be the hammer, not the nail”.  That’s a difference in philosophy between […]
  • Find some new places to fish - April 16, 2014
Instead of fishing the same old places this spring, do something different. Find a new honey hole. You don’t have to go to the same place every time you go fishing. When you find a good spot to fish, it’s nice to know you can go back there and catch fish. But if your honey […]
