Gasoline Prices Here Not Reflecting National Rise

Anyone taking a casual drive around town can plainly see the price of gasoline has remained unchanged for the past several weeks. Nationally, it appears to be on its way up again.  Amerine Woodyard of the US Energy Information Administration says, the U.S. average retail price for regular gasoline rose for the first time in 5 weeks to $3.31 a gallon on Monday. That, she says is up 1.7 cents from a week ago, based on the weekly price survey by the U.S. Energy Information Administration.  In Jackson Hole, meanwhile, the average of prices surveyed by Motor Trend is currently $3.24 per gallon while the average of the prices surveyed in Teton Valley is currently $3.25 per gallon.
