Cabela’s has announced plans to build a store in Ammon in 2015. The store is planned for the corner of Hitt and Sunnyside roads. The store will be smaller than the ones in Boise and Lehi, Utah, which are more than 120,000 square feet. The Ammon Cabela’s will be 42,000 square feet and employ 90 people. It will be Cabela’s third Idaho location, joining the Boise store opened in 2006 and the Post Falls store opened in 2007. Construction is scheduled to begin later this year and Cabela’s plans to open the location in spring 2015.
