The Eastern Idaho Resource Advisory Committee will be accepting proposals between now and March 14th for review, and consideration for funding during Fiscal Year 2014.  Caribou-Targhee National Forest Supervisor Brent Larson estimates about $473-thousand will be awarded this year.  Resource Advisory Committee-funded projects being proposed must be located on National Forest System Lands in a number of counties including Bonneville and Teton counties, or on nearby lands if the project will benefit resources on the National Forests. Those resources could include forest health, fish, wildlife, soils, watersheds and other resources; maintains roads, trails and other infrastructure; or control noxious weeds.  Interested persons should contact the proposals coordinator Lynn Ballard at the Caribou-Targhee National Forest Supervisor’s Office.
