Wyoming Game and Fish Personnel have put together their estimates for the minimum pack sizes of every known pack of wolves in northwest Wyoming outside Yellowstone National Park and the Wind River Indian Reservation.  In addition, personnel coordinated aerial capture efforts for wolves in the Wolf Trophy Game Management Area in and around Jackson Hole. Officials say a total of 34 wolves from 16 packs were captured and radio-collared to assist in monitoring and managing the wolf population.  That brings the total now to 87 wolves that have been radio-collared.  Game and Fish personnel will continue monitoring the packs through mid-March to refine the minimum wolf population estimate, which will be in the 2013 annual report set to be released in April.
