The Wyoming Travel Commission has announced Kari Cooper, Executive Director of Jackson Hole Air, is this year’s recipient of the state Lodging and Restaurant Association’s “Big Wyo Award.”  In making the announcement, Travel and Tourism Spokesperson Chris Mickey noted that one of Cooper’s more distinguished accomplishments was her role in expanding air service not only to the Jackson area, but statewide.  Mickey adds that Cooper also served on the Wyoming Tourism Board for six years. She had been appointed to the board by former Governor Dave Freudenthal in 2007 and served in that role until 2013.  Cooper was honored with the award Tuesday night at the 2014 Wyoming Governor’s Conference on Hospitality and Tourism at Little America in Cheyenne.
